Given the state of art, this work presents an approach to model the tool diameter reduction in the micro end milling of tool steel H13 using fullfactorial design of experiments (DoE) in a range of feed per tooth 2 ≤ f z ≤ to 5 μm, spindle speed 30,000 ≤ n ≤ to 46,000 rpm and cutting length of 1182 mm.
